Aku inget banget bedak ini sempet dihype banget sama semua orang di awa tahun 2018 (atau lebih awal lagi ya?). Aku bukan tipe orang yang suka pake bedak. Soalnya suka kebayang sendiri kalo partikel bedak itu bisa clogging pores. Aku pake bedak utamanya cuma buat baking, atau ngeset foundation. Selain itu berusahe meminimalisir pemakaian. Padahal mah ya muka ini sungguh terlihat hina kalo ga pake bedak karena kusam hahaha :")

Aku bukan customer baru Pond's, malah sejujurnya aku udah pake produk mereka sejak dulu banget, waktu masih belum ngerti soal skincare dan merk merk selain yang dijual di Indomaret. Tapiii, aku penasaran banget sama bedak Pond's ini karena kok bahkan temen-temenku juga seneng banget sama dia. Akhirnya beberapa waktu lalu aku belanja lipstik di Shopee, aku sekalian check out bedak ini biar genap bisa free ongkir. Selama ini yang nahan-nahan aku buat beli bedak ini cuma karena aku takut warnanya bakal bikin mukaku putih banget atau ngerubah muka jadi abu-abu.

Tekstur bedaknya itu sendiri super duper halus dan lembut. Kalo aku bandingin sama bedaknya Make Over, Pond's punya memang selembut dan seringan itu di kulit. Sebagai manusia dengan pori-pori sebesar kulit jeruk bali, ketemu bedak dengan teksur dan partikel sehalus ini adalah sebuah kebahagiaan :") Kalo kalian pernah baca review aku tentang si bedak Make Over, pasti kalian ngeh kalo aku bilang di postingan itu betapa bedak Make Over terasa tebel banget seakan-akan bikin kulitku kayak tenggelam ditelan make-up. Cuma sayang, dari segi baunya, bedak ini cukup punya bau yang agak nyegrak. Ga semua orang suka sama bau bedak Pond's ini. Cuma aku pribadi ga masalah. Bau bedaknya juga bakal hilang seiring berjalannya waktu.

Nah, ini yang paling banyak ditanyain sama semua orang, "Warna bedaknya bikin muka putih semen ga ya?". Itupun pertanyaan yang aku layangkan juga waktu pertama lihat produknya booming di pasaran, dan itu juga yang jadi penghalang kenapa aku lama banget buat akhirnya nyobain bedak ini. Warna dari bedaknya itu sendiri malah ga putih, tapi cenderung kecoklatan, yang begitu diaplikasikan ke kulit muka jadinya translucent. Entah aku yang ga notice atau dia memang translucent full, tapi bedak ini ga bikin mukaku jadi kelihata abu-abu. Si BB Magic Powder ini juga ada sedikit sheen-nya, agak bling-bling gemes tapi ga heboh, dan seiring berjalannya waktu bisa hilang juga. Kalo kalian mau yang lebih mencerahkan bisa cobain varian yang biru.
Klaim bedak ini adalah memberikan UV protection dan sebagai oily control juga. Cuma aku jarang pake bedak ini untuk pemakaian pagi hari karena untuk sehari-hari aku lebih prefer pake pressed powder dibandingkan loose powder karena pressed powder lebih kuat nempel di kulit. Tapi kemampuan smoothing bedak ini beneran sebagus itu. Aku pake buat baking concealer di undereye, begitu diratain langsung concealernya nempel kuat, ga creasing, dan halus banget. Untuk bagian klaim oil controlnya sendiri dia standard-standard aja. Kalo dipakai sendiri ga bakal kuat nahan minyak, tapi kalo dikombinasikan sama primer dan foundation yang mattifying dan juga oil control, mungkin lebih yahud.

Jadi kesimpulannya, buat sekarang aku cinta banget sama bedak ini. Walaupun sering dikirimin powder dari sana sini tapi tetep aja ujung-ujungnya balik pake Pond's BB Magic Powder lagi. Kalian sudah pernah coba bedak ini? Suka ga? Atau mungkin ada bedak yang menurut kalian jauh lebih oke lagi?

It's been probably way too long I can't even remember anymore when did the last time I post about my latest #cafehopping that used to dominate this blog. It's nothing to be sad about--instead, it feels fun to see how my life changes from one point to another, from one interest to another. It reminds me that life is constantly moving and nothing is ever the same. Though if I may be honest with you guys, it's not that I have stopped doing cafe hopping anymore. I do, I always do. But everytime I do, I forget to bring my camera with me. You know me, I refuse to take pretty pictures aside from using my old trusty DSLR.

So what about this one? I have just found a new lovely home for my sweet tooth. If you happen to live in Jogja, perhaps you have heard about this cafe, located near my campus named Analog Coffee. It looks like a very homey and small cafe and truth be honest a little bit cramped as well. But I love the ambiance of the place. They just had a renovation last month to expand their second floor.

Here comes the best part about Analog Coffee; they serve several snacks and one of them is these sweet treats, the cookies. I just found out yesterday that they didn't make it themselves but they had someone make it and drop it everyday there. I swear to god, these cookies are by far the best cookies I've ever tasted. I can't even begin with how it just melts in your mouth and the chocolate chips filled your taste buds... ah, even just by writing about it makes my mouth watery. It's also very affordable with Rp. 13.000/pcs. They have 2 flavor options for you to choose. I usually go by either one of them, or both lol. I'm sorry, I just can't help it!

I usually pair them with a glass of plain water, or I snatch my boyfriend's coffee. My favorite serving is a Vietnam drip honey lembang coffee, it doesn't taste too acidic and still sweet enough for my cravings. I will keep continuing my journey to find more delightful treats in this city before I finally leave for good. Because they're probably the only things that keep me coming back to Jogja.

Nothing is better than to start this month with a haul post dedicated for my very recent SOCOBOX that I got from Sociolla!
